Project Location: PAMPA Coal-Fired Power Plant, Brazil (Controlled by Engie Group)

Project Type: 345MW Subcritical Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler Supply and Technical Service Project

Project Overview: Aix Boiler undertook the circulating fluidized bed boiler project for the PAMPA Coal-Fired Power Plant in Brazil. This project is currently the largest investment coal-fired power plant in Brazil. The boilers provided by Aix are adapted to the local low-quality sub-bituminous coal with high ash content and high abrasiveness, solving the problems of severe wear and insufficient reliability in similar local units. The project design was reviewed by a renowned American design company and strictly follows ASME standards and local Brazilian regulations. The Aix team transported 400 tons of low-quality coal back from Brazil for trial firing tests, obtained first-hand data, and carried out customized design.

Core Advantages: Uses third-generation circulating fluidized bed technology, three-dimensional furnace bed temperature uniformity technology, high-efficiency in-furnace desulfurization with desulfurization efficiency exceeding 95%; excellent boiler wear resistance, using high-temperature and wear-resistant materials, with tube wall corrosion rate below 0.01 mm/year, extending service life to over 15 years; stable power generation efficiency, adaptable to 50%-100% load variations, meeting the requirement for stable power supply; Aix provides full-process technical guidance, assists the customer in completing installation and commissioning, with the project reliability test successfully passed on the first try, establishing a good brand image for Chinese boilers in the South American market.
