Project Type: Custom Industrial Heating Iron Fuel Boiler Project

Project Overview: In response to the European industrial carbon reduction trend, Aix Boiler customized an iron fuel industrial heating boiler for the Kingspan Unidek factory in the Netherlands, used for medium-temperature heating (around 250°C) in the production process of building insulation materials. This project adopts Aix's independently developed iron powder combustion technology, in which iron powder is ground into sand-like particles and injected into the boiler to react and burn with air to release heat. The resulting iron oxide can be recovered and reduced back into iron powder for recycling, forming a closed-loop system of "fuel-combustion-recovery-reuse."

Core Advantages: Compared with traditional natural gas heating, carbon emissions are reduced by nearly 80%, aligning with European low-carbon policies; iron powder is easy to transport and store, eliminating the need for complex energy storage equipment and addressing the storage and transport challenges of hydrogen fuel; the boiler is compatible with the existing factory heating system, requiring low modification effort, with operational costs lower than natural gas boilers; equipped with an intelligent control system, it can flexibly adjust heating power according to production load, maintain stable thermal efficiency, gain technical recognition from Rift, a Dutch renewable iron fuel technology company, and become a benchmark case for industrial decarbonization in Europe.
